About Latino Community Foundation of Colorado

The Latino Community Foundation of Colorado (LCFC) is a state-based philanthropic organization dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for Latino communities across Denver and throughout Colorado. LCFC specializes in developing culturally responsive strategies that build influence, equity, and opportunity for all Latino Coloradans through targeted programs and community partnerships. The foundation operates several key initiatives designed to strengthen the nonprofit sector and advance community leadership. Adelante Colorado is a three-year cohort program that builds the capacities of Latino-led and Latino-serving nonprofits and leaders through culturally grounded processes. The Colorado Communities of Color Loan Fund provides critical access to capital for nonprofit organizations led by and serving communities of color through a five-year revolving loan fund pilot project. LCFC also administers Colorado's First Nonprofit Infrastructure Grant Program in collaboration with the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, specifically designed to support small nonprofits impacted by COVID-19. Additional programs include the Latinas LEAD Power Summit and Soul Players of the Valley, which enhance community cohesion and foster new possibilities. Led by experienced nonprofit professionals with backgrounds in federal policy, advocacy, research, and program management, LCFC's team brings decades of collective expertise in advancing equity for underserved communities. The foundation's work is guided by core values of family-centered care, community leadership, and cultural justice, ensuring that all people have the right to embrace their cultural identity while building collective power in Denver and across Colorado.
