About Embassy of Chile in United States of America
Embassy of Chile in United States of America represents the interest of Chile and its nationals in the US and promote greater integration and cooperation with its authorities and institutions, in order to contribute to the economic, scientific-technological, political and social development of Chile.
In this sense, consultations and collaboration mechanisms are strengthened that contribute to the development of relations in the field of Human Rights, promotion of democracy, free trade, education, scientific and technological innovation, environment, energy, defense, fight against corruption, and hemispheric cooperation, together with contact and work with the Administration, federal agencies, states, Congress, NGOs, think tanks, and relevant civil society institutions. Likewise, it promotes and coordinates visits by officials and personalities from the public and private sectors, in all areas of national life.
The diversity and breadth of the Chilean-American link, the innumerable coincidences in various areas of economic and social development, as well as the geographic and economic dimension of the United States, lead to decentralized dissemination work that allows the strengths and attractions of in business, tourism, social and cultural affairs in the main centers of the country.
